Atma Maharaj is the Chief Executive Officer of Latitude 12. He specializes in Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, Information Systems, Change Management and Business Improvement.
A Chartered Accountant, by qualification, Atma has held successful Senior Executive positions, including CEO of Fiji Investment Corporation, General Manager and Director of Toyota Tsusho (South Seas) Company and Group Information Systems Manager for Toyota Tsusho South Pacific Holdings.
He possesses a unique experience of working in the Public and Private Sector, together with Not-For-Profit organizations. As CEO of Latitude 12, Atma brings a fresh approach and new value to Local Government, Shires and Remote Australia.
Atma has developed a wealth of experience and knowledge in the ICT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Industry since the 1980’s.
Atma has a strong commercial and financial acumen with a proven ability to capitalize on opportunities and generate substantial growth through strategic thinking, high performance, coaching and mentoring of team members.
Atma has served as a Board Member and Director of a range of private and public organisations, including Fiji Trade and Investment Board, Fiji Hardwood Corporation, Toyota Tsusho South Seas Limited; Fiji Investment Corporation Associate Companies and Advisory Board of ATH Technology Park
Atma has an outstanding and internationally recognised sports leadership, for over 30 years.
Atma has attended 8 Olympic Games and 3 Commonwealth Games in various leadership capacities and served as the Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee of Fiji.
Atma has made significant contribution to various professional and civic institutions, including being a founding Board Member of Leadership Fiji, President of Fiji Computer Society and Chair of National ICT Advisory Council, responsible for the preparation of the first National ICT Development Policy which underpinned the many changes in the industry since.
